As pleased as I am that I'll finally be animating something worthwhile, I'm still rather nervous about it. Then there's the fact that I have three essays to write this week, chapters of an effective speaking book to outline, a room to draw for my perspective class... Bleh.
Anyway, I've managed to get two sketches done before all this crap I've been putting off until last minute came back to make me regret my decision to wait, and I intend to eventually get to work on more. I've noticed two things thus far regarding my work: 1.) I'm much better (in my opinion, at any rate) when I have a sketch pad and pencil as my medium of choice than with m

For the second night in a row, my tablet simply refuses to work in the way I want it to. It gladly works as a large mouse, but that's not what I want it to do nor why I wanted to get it in the first place! I want to draw, and with my tablet acting up like this I simply can't. Sure, I can draw in a sketch pad, but that won't help because I suck at drawing/coloring with a mouse, thus rendering my current art pieces in the works unable to be completed, and my scanner is a small portable unit which my sketches from my 9"x12" sketch pad don't fit into. So much for a relaxing night.
